  7. To register SHEZ and receive your serial number please print the
  8. registration form included and send it to California Software Design.  A
  9. registration form will be returned to you and will contain your personal
  10. serial number.

  12. If you are currently a registered SHEZ user, without a serial number, send
  13. a self addressed post card with the proper postage applied to CSD. I will
  14. return the post card to you along with your serial number.

  20. │ Fixed the problem of not being able to create a self extracting ZIP file   │

  39. │║mandatory, the configuration information will no longer be "burned in"    ║│

  48. │║    2) When the DOS directory window appears press the ALT-W keys.        ║│
  49. │║       This will created a file called SHEZ.CFG in the current            ║│
  50. │║       directory.                                                         ║│

  52. │║    3) Copy the created SHEZ.CFG file to a directory that is in your      ║│
  53. │║       path statement.                                                    ║│

  57. │║    5) Run the SHEZCFG program before attempting to run the 8.6 release   ║│

  88. │     CONVERTING ZIP FILES FROM PKZIP 1.1 FORMAT TO PKZIP 204  FORMAT         │

  90. │   You can use SHEZ to convert your PKZIP 1.1 .ZIP file to the new PKZIP     │
  91. │   204C format.  First configure SHEZ to use the new PKZIP204C program by    │
  92. │   using the SHEZCFG program.  (Be sure to enter 204 in the version          │
  93. │   number field).  Then startup SHEZ and highlight the .ZIP file you wish    │
  94. │   to convert and press the ALT-V keys.  When presented with the             │
  95. │   compressed file type to convert to choose ZIP and press the enter key.    │
  96. │   Answer Y or N to retain volume serial number and press ENTER.  SHEZ will  │
  97. │   uncompress the old ZIP file and recompress and replace the old ZIP        │
  98. │   file with the new ZIP file.                                               │

  100. │   You can convert numerous ZIP files at once by first tagging all ZIP       │
  101. │   files you wish to convert then press the CTRL-V keys and follow the       │
  102. │   remainder of the above procedure.                                         │

  217. send your questions to me via E-mail.  (type go mail at the Cserve
  218. prompt) My userid is 76266,2634. This is the preferred method, I check for
  219. mail twice a week and will get back to you with an answer usually within a
  220. week.  If you do not have access to CSERVE send a note, letter, postcard to
  221. the address show above.  Register users have priority but I will try to
